Five Week Challenge - 28 days to go



28 Days to go of My 5 week challenge which started on Monday 17th March 2014. The Goal? 37 days to lose 1 whole stone.

As of this morning, I have lost one and a half of the 14 to lose. This may not sound much but trust me its going in the right direction after a small (birthday cake shaped) blip. It represents the undoing of the birthday damage last weekend!!

Today's progress - 3 proper meals, healthy snacks, and shock - plenty of water!

This morning before work I did a workout routine for approx 10 minutes, slightly longer as its a non gym/PT day, consisting of:

  • 100 abs/crunches
  • 11 press ups
  • 11 tricep dips
  • 10 front kicks
  • 10 knee lifts
  • 10 lunge jumps
  • 10 punches
  • 10 squats

When I got home this evening, I have done some jobs I have been putting off. This has involved organising my crammed shoe collection and sadly some shoes have gone to shoe heaven. I have stripped the beds and put clean bedding on, I have put washing on, and put clean away. I have also made up the sandwiches for work tomorrow and put my work clothes out and ready for the morning. Suddenly, I feel in control of my life. I feel like I can take on the world, and I know its just the confidence boost from getting my body and diet under control. It's a good feeling.

Steps - only up to 5000 but time to notch it up a bit. In any case, I am at the gym tomorrow evening, PT Friday evening, and a further gym session over the weekend which will total 5 sessions this week. I'm starting to get into this at last. 28 days and counting. Bring it on!!! :) 12 1/2lbs to go!!
