My 5 Week Challenge - 29 days to go

29 Days to go of My 5 week challenge which started  on Monday 17th March 2014. I set myself the goal 37 days to lose 1 whole stone.

Things are firmly on track again now. As of this morning, I have lost one whole pound of the planned 14. This may not sound much in a week, but it represents the undoing of the birthday damage last weekend!!

I shall from here on in treat each day as a new opportunity to shift those pounds.

Today's progress then - I have controlled my calories. I have eaten healthily and have felt in control. Exercise wise I was excellent again today.

This morning before work I did a short routine (about 5 minutes in total) consisting of:
  • 100 abs/crunches
  • 10 press ups
  • 10 triceps
  • 10 front kicks
  • 10 knee lifts
  • 10 lunge jumps
  • 10 punches
I have also been to the gym this evening. Aching badly from PT last night, but determined none the less.

Todays session consisted of:
  • 2 mile run and 5 mins incline walking = 300 cals burned
  • Squats x 25
  • Stepper - 125 cals burned
  • 3 sets of 80 abs = 240 abs
  • 10 press ups - full ones
  • 20 tricep dips
  • Cross trainer sprint = 75 cals burned
  • Total of 500 cals burn plus ab and core
Steps in total = 11,000 on the pedometer. Excellent. So just over 4 weeks to go, 29 days left. 13lbs still to lose. Make each day count. Come on, send me some encouragement why don't you? :)
