Take That - Day Three - Back for Good

Day Three of My Week with Take That and today it's Back for Good. Released in 1995, this was the second single to be released from their album Nobody Else. This was another number one for the band, hitting the top spot in the UK charts.

Gary Barlow wrote this song, and is also on lead vocals. This number one single was actually their sixth! Impressive. Robbie was still with the band on this one.

The video is a classic. Shot in black and white with the rain pouring down. Its very simple - just the five of them dancing in the rain, and just sitting together singing. They all look very sexy and very cool as they move with the water pouring over them. Its got better with age this video, and they look great.

The boys all sing in the background, and this song strikes a real chord. Its very slow moving, very melodic, but still very pop. Gary has the talent for writing songs with a great hook that really grab you.

The album this is taken from, Nobody Else is their third studio album. It was also released in 1995, and little did we know it would be the last one before the split happened in 1996. It was also the last one that featured Robbie, until his brief stint back with them in 2010.

This is a fantastic love song, Gary's voice is perfect and the boys looked fabulous. What more could you ask for? For more of the boys, or more of My Music check it out here. Happy listening :)
