Survived another PT

Today's gym session was an early one for a Saturday. 12.45pm. I did not feel like going at all with legs and arms and abs, well everything really, aching from Thursday's session still! But off I went.

So what did he put me through today? Here is today's hardcore session:

  • run to warm up on treadmill ending with a sprint
  • rowing machine - 400m sprint
  • 15 squats with weight bar
  • 15 squat thrusts with weight bar
  • rowing machine - 400m sprint
  • 15 squats with weight bar
  • 15 squat thrusts with weight bar
  • rowing machine - 400m sprint
  • 15 squats with weight bar
  • 15 squat thrusts with weight bar
  • weight machine - front row - 15 reps
  • 15 burpees
  • 15 street thrusts
  • weight machine - front row - 15 reps
  • 15 burpees
  • 15 street thrusts
  • weight machine - front row - 10 reps heavy, 15 reps light
  • 15 burpess
  • 15 street thrusts
  • 3 x 90 second sprints on stair master - double steps
  • 3 x 15 reps of bicep curls with weight bar
  • 1 min sprint on an incline on the treadmill
  • abs - leg raise to weight bar twist - 20 reps
  • full sit ups with arm raise - 20 reps
  • 1 min sprint on an incline on the treadmill
  • abs - leg raise to weight bar twist - 15 reps
  • full sit ups with arm raise - 15 reps
  • 1 min sprint on an incline on the treadmill
  • abs - leg raise to weight bar twist - 15 reps
  • full sit ups with arm raise - 15 reps
  • 1 min sprint on treadmill 
It was pretty intense again today. The good news is that I am definitely getting stronger, and my breathing is better - much less panting occurring!! This is all good. 

What is not so good is how much I ache right now! I want my body to be the best it can be though, and that does not come easy. Got to keep going.
