Day 4 of My Week with Paloma Faith - Changing

Day 4 of my week with Paloma Faith and today its 'Changing'.

'Changing' is a single from drum & bass act Sigma, and features Paloma on vocals. It was released in 2014, and is on her repackaged third album 'A Perfect Contradiction: Outsider's Edition'. Its also the second single from Sigma's album 'Life'.

This is a real contrast to Paloma's more soulful style of song, in that its very dance based and fast tempo. It was actually co-written by Ella Eyre along with Sigma, but the choice to have Paloma on lyrics is genuis.

'Changing' hit the number one spot in the UK charts, giving Paloma her very first number one, and Sigma their second. The first being 'Nobody to Love'. Sigma consist of Cameron Edwards and Joe Lenzie, who are also from the UK.

The video sees Paloma and Sigma looking very stylish and cool. Apparently it was shot in Miami, and it features lots of "bouncing" cars and brightly coloured graffiti.

'Changing' is a catchy dance number, with what sounds like an orchestra in the background. The result is a massive hit, in which Paloma sounds better than ever, and really shows her versatility. Its nice to hear her do something completely different to her usual style.
