Annoyed with the scales cue big PT workout tonight!!

So annoyed with the damned scales at the moment. I go on holiday 3 weeks on Tuesday, and the scales ain't budging. Damn them!!

I've given in now and decided the only way forward is extreme effort at the gym. Which brings me nicely to this evenings PT session - what an epic session - smashed it!!

Here is tonight's content:

  • 5 min warm up run on treadmill
  • 8 box burpees
  • 8 kettle bell swings 12KG
  • 8 leg raise and crunch
  • 10 box burpees
  • 10 kettle bell swings 12KG
  • 10 leg raise and crunch
  • 12 box burpees
  • 12 kettle bell swings 12 KG
  • 12 leg raise and crunch
  • 10 box burpees
  • 10 leg raise and crunch
  • 10 kettle bell swings 12KG
  • 8 box burpees
  • 8 leg raise and crunch
  • 8 kettle bell swings 12KG
  • Cross trainer intervals - 4 x 30 second sprints, and 4 minutes steady
  • 3 x 1 minute rope pulls kneeling
  • 3 sets of 40 box jumps holding bar
  • 3 x 1 minute rope pull standing
  • 3 sets of 50 side box steps
  • Kettle bell 12KG double and single alternating swings - 3 sets of 8 reps
  • 3 minute sprint on treadmill to finish
I was knackered, but I felt strong. I then came home and did and hour and a half of house work so the house looks fab too. Productive evening, calories burned - job done. Good stuff. Now let me at those damned scales in the morning!! :)
