Tonight was Personal Training - I survived!!

Tonight was Personal Training and I am happy to say that I survived it!! I didn't manage the gym last week, but this week, my head is on straight. My head and my heart and my body are for once aligned. Every part of me wants to lose the weight, to get that body I have always dreamed of. I want it, and I will have it.

Tonight takes me one day closer to achieving my goal. Here is what my session entailed:

  • 5 min jog on treadmill
  • Kettle bell squats on step box - 3 sets of 20 reps (16 bell)
  • 3 x 3 laps of studio in between sets
  • Kettle bell squat and lift - 3 x 15 reps (12 bell)
  • 3 sets of 2 lengths jogging with 3 x 3 sets of burpees
  • Leg press machine - 15 light reps
  • 1 set of 20 lunges on step
  • Leg press machine - 3 x 20 reps heavy
  • 3 sets of 20 lunges
  • 1 set of 30 reps light
  • 600 metres run on treadmill
  • Stretches
It was hard. It was intense. But my fitness is returning, I feel lighter on my feet, and I am starting to feel strong again. No excuses now. I have to go to the gym as much as possible from this point. Gym bunny I shall be :)
