Tonight's Personal Training - ouch!!

Tonight was PT. Second one of the year. I have one word to describe how I feel right now, and that word is "ouch".

Yep - pretty much every muscle is burning right now. In a funny sort of a way, it actually feels good.

Here is tonight's menu of torture:

  • "Ass to the grass" squats with TRX - 3 x 15 reps
  • Calf stretches x 3
  • Squat to box and thrust with weight bar - 10 reps on high box
  • Squat to box and thrust with weight bar - 3 x 10 reps low box
  • Squats with bar - 10 reps x 4 sets
  • Body weight squats to box - 10 reps x 4 sets
  • 4 minute run on treadmill at 6mph, followed by 1 min sprint
  • Reverse lunge and knee lift with TRX - 4 x 20 reps per leg
  • Side weights with weight wheel - 4 x 15 reps
  • 4 minute run on treadmill at 6mph, followed by 1 min sprint
  • 3 by 1 minute rope pull
  • 3 x 10 reps standing planks
Phewf. Intense. But good. I survived :)
