Tonight's PT

Tonight was my second PT of the week. I already had sore, achy thighs from Tuesday's session, but I was determined tonight. Its a rare occurrence for me to actually want to go to the gym!!

Here is tonight's menu of torture:

  • 5 mins fast run on treadmill
  • Kettle bell dead lifts - 1 set of 20 reps
  • Dumbbell press on bench - 1 set of 20 reps
  • Kettle bell dead lifts - 2 sets of 15 reps
  • Dumbbell press on bench - 2 sets of 15 reps
  • Cross trainer - 30 second sprints, 30 second maintaining - 7 minutes
  • Kneeling to standing lunges - 3 x 16 reps
  • Tricep lift overhead on bench - 3 x 15 reps
  • Cross trainer - 30 second sprints, 30 second maintaining - 7 minutes
  • Chest press - 3 x 15 reps, 1 x 10 reps on lighter weight
  • Free standing lunges forward 3 x 16 reps
  • 2 minute run on treadmill, then 1 minute sprint
It was a hot and sweaty affair this evening let me tell you, but in a funny way, it feels good now.
