Today's exercise - intense and uplifting

Today was intense, and as per my previous post, helped lift my mood temporarily so accomplished 2 things. I felt stronger mentally as well as physically. Here is today's menu:

  • 5 minute running on treadmill
  • smiths machine shoulder press - 1 light set - 15 reps
  • smiths machine - 4 heavy sets - 2 x 15 reps, 2 x 10 reps
  • side weight - 4 sets of 15 reps each side
  • upright row - 4 sets of 15 reps with bar
  • upright row - singles with free weights 4 sets of 15 each arm
  • 4 x 45 second rope pulls
  • 4 x 10 burpees with box jump
  • 3 sets of diverging seated rows - 15 reps
  • 3 sets of free weights dumbell lifts - twisting - 10 reps
  • interval sprints on treadmill - 10 mins - 45 second burst increasing, then 30 seconds
