Yesterday I returned to Personal Training - Ooofff!!!

I went back to Personal Training today. I had already done Thursday and Friday sessions of my own, so today was third on the trot. However, its quite clear that an hour of PT is not the equal to an hour on my own. Not even close!!

Here is what today entailed :

  • 30 free weight squats standing
  • 15 box squats with weight bar from sitting x 4 sets 
  • 15 walking planks x 4 sets
  • 400m run on treadmill
  • 14 deadlifts x 4 sets
  • 4 sets of leg raise with 2 pulses - 15 reps
  • 1 set of 8 heavy deadlifts
  • 1 set of 15 light deadlifts
  • 400m run on treadmill
  • 4 sets of pull downs x 15 reps
  • 4 sets of squat thrusts with bar x 15 reps
  • 400 m run on treadmill
  • 3 sets of 30 kettle bell ab twists raised feet
  • 1 set of 30 kettle bell ab twists feet flat
  • 3 sets of knee thrust and leg raise abs x 15 reps
I have just this to say - ouch ouch ouch ouch!!! Burns it burns :)
