Trying to get fit, lose weight and be healthy - this week's round up

Its been a bit of a grueller this week! Starting from last Tuesday, it was work, then a walk, then Bootcamp for an hour. Wednesday, I went to the gym in the afternoon. I hit 10,000 steps both days and then some.

Thursday, it was work, then a walk, then Bootcamp again. Friday, once again, work and then the gym, and then another walk. Well over 10,000 every day.

Saturday, it was housework, shopping and walking - not quite my 10K but 8500 so still pretty good. Sunday, it was bootcamp at 9.15am - 6km run plus exercises - it was intense.

Monday it was a long gym session, Tuesday was gym first thing, Bootcamp in the evening. Today, Wednesday, it was another long gym session, before my next double up of gym and bootcamp tomorrow.

As well as the exercise, I have also been eating well. Lots of fruit and veg, low fat, low salt, low cal and fresh home made food. I have been having strawberries and blueberries with branflakes and skimmed milk for breakfast.

For lunch, a home prepared salad including iceberg lettuce, peppers, red onion, celery, beetroot, gherkins, radishes, cucumber, sweetcorn, red cabbage, jalapeno, cottage cheese, and topped with chicken breast and chicken tikka pieces. Delicious.

In the evening, I have opted for veggies - cauliflower, broccoli, green beans, spinach and carrots, with either quorn or chicken breast. Alternatively, I have done roasted veggies - mushrooms, peppers, tomato, butternut squash, carrots, garlic, and onion. I have diced the chicken or had it as chicken breast, and oven baked or pan fried in fry light. Ultra low fat and hardly any carbs.

I weigh in on a Saturday, and Saturday through Saturday I had lost 3lbs. That is amazing. Hoping this week goes the same. No reason it shouldn't as I am making maximum effort here.

Bikini body here I come! :)
