Christmas Songs Day 19 - Brenda Lee 'Rockin Around the Christmas Tree'

Day 19 and today its Brenda Lee with 'Rockin Around the Christmas Tree'.

Originally recorded by Brenda Lee back in 1958, this is still one of the most recognisable Christmas tunes to date. Its been covered since then, namely by Kim Wilde and Mel Smith, LeeAnn Rimes plus numerous others.

Not a huge hit when first released back in the day, its become a chart staple in recent years as its downloaded every Christmas.

One to get you rocking and bopping about this - more for a fun get together than some of the more meaningful and sombre Christmas songs, it still earns its place in my list this year.
