What I'm Watching This Week

  • The last episode of The Missing. It was a fascinating end - nothing really concluded, but actually quite realistic. Life doesn't neatly tie ends together in many cases, and it was actually quite refreshing not to have a happy ending which is often totally implausible. Interestingly, at the end of the program, a new series and a new case was trailed. I will keep an eye open for that one.
  • The Apprentice. Almost at the end of the current series of hopefuls. The best is to come this week, as the grilling episode is aired. Its my favourite part. When the experts in business rip their CV's and business plans into shreds. This series has been one of the best, and I am thoroughly enjoying it as it reaches its conclusion.
  • Lost. We are now up to series 5. The island is now time travelling and the links between the various island habitants past and present are being revealed. What a fascinating, and utterly confusing at times, program this is. So glad I have persevered, as its one of those cult series that you just have to be able to comment upon. I just cannot imagine how its going to end!
  • Anything to do with Christmas! Christmas films, Christmas songs, Christmas episodes of various TV Gold - you name it as we get into the Christmas spirit!
