What I'm Watching this Week

  • Corrie. More drama on the cobbles this week. Phelan may be on his holidays, but the mess he has left behind him continues. With that question to Gary from Sarah about wanting kids, despite his getting Nicola preggers, and the planting of the earring - Jees. Pat of course knows about the pregnancy, so trouble ahead. Surely dippy Rosie will remember Pat going in the office. And just how is Todd going to depart? Hmmm.

  • The Walking Dead. **Spoiler if you have not yet watched Season 7**. That episode with Negan and Lucille is by far the most traumatic thing I have ever watched. Now twice. Seriously - I have watched horror, drama, films and TV but never have I ever been so utterly distraught, terrified and traumatised by a fictional scene. Violent just isn't the word. It comes to something when The Walkers are the least scary people in the show. Not for the faint hearted.

  • Emmerdale. Come on Faith, give Eric another chance - that was a horrid thing to say to him. Things are very serious in the Dales. Robert still up to no good, and has somehow managed to get even Lawrence on side now. And exactly who did do for Emma? I was convinced it was Gabby, then I thought it was Adam, now it looks more likely to be Ross, but who knows? Loving that Chaz is back on a lighter note - her and Paddy are brilliant together.

  • The Hatton Garden Job - movie. If this was just a movie, it would be far-fetched. This is actually based on a real life robbery! 4 old men carried out the largest robbery in English history and they almost got away with it too! The film has a star cast including the always brilliant Larry Lamb, Joely Richardson and Phil Daniels. Well worth a watch - highly entertaining.
