On a more scary note, its Zombie Awareness Month - so go binge on The Walking Dead, or maybe watch 28 Days Later or World War Z. Less scary, is Share a Story Month - dig out Enid Blyton and read with your little ones.

So there we have the National Month's for May.

Do you fake or bake?

I do not tan. I go a bit pink, I get heat rash, and a few more freckles. Then I peel.

Several years ago, I gave up trying to become bronzed - it clearly just wasn't going to happen.

So I had a few holidays looking pale and interesting. Then a couple of years ago, I decided to fake.

First, I did it at home. It was not a success. It was streaky and unnatural.

So I went to have a spray tan. I felt great. It looked great. It faded, so I took exfoliating gloves and then used a gradual tan lotion. It was not bad.

This year, I am having a spray tan again. Then I have a spray tan to take with me. I will see how it works out this time.

Do you fake it or do you bake?

Sweat is Fat Crying :(

I just saw this caption under a photograph of someone working out in the gym. It inspired me. The body of the person in question was immensely impressive.

When it gets a bit too much at the gym, its this sort of motivation that keeps me going. Sweat is fat crying - well in that case, my fat needs to get the hankies at the ready - its going to sob!!! :)

Travels in Marrakech - The Sun Came Out

It was raining when we arrived

It didn't last long

Then the clouds moved over the mountains

And it was a different place in the sunshine

Travels in Marrakech - sunset over the Atlas Mountains

Snow capped mountains

Sparkling in the early evening sunshine

The mountains rose up behind the rooftops

We watched the sunset from a rooftop bar

It was so dramatic with the backdrop of city and mountains

As the sun set, the lights of the city came on

The red city literally burned red as the sun finally set

Tiger in Marrakech!! Grr!

I think its fair to say the animal print went to my head a little ! :)

Not just mine !

Travels in Marrakech - First Day - rain :(

We got to the airport, and it was home from home - grey skies, rain.

It was bouncing off the tiles, and a mist rose off the pool

Not the best of starts - nothing else for it!

Grey skies when we left

Even greyer skies when we arrived!

Everywhere was flooded but it was sort of exciting exploring

We just hadn't expected to need wellies!

My travels in Marrakech - fun by the pool

Sunshine, good book, cold beer :)

Amazing pool

Strange to be inland - it felt like an oasis

Nothing better than a dip when its hot

So relaxing

Most of the time!
